
Butter Half Bakery
The bakery required a visual identity that felt fun, vibrant, and approachable while still communicating care, craftsmanship, and ingredient integrity. The brand needed to appeal to a broad audience, including families and local customers, without appearing overly juvenile or generic.
A central message of the brand was its commitment to quality ingredients and ethical sourcing practices, particularly the welfare of the cows providing the dairy used in production. This value needed to be communicated in a way that felt warm and positive rather than didactic.

The identity centers around a friendly wordmark and mascot logo to create an immediate sense of warmth and approachability. Playful forms and energetic color choices support the bakery’s welcoming personality, while thoughtful detailing reinforces care, quality, and trust.
